There are restrictions that apply to dogs on beaches by location and time of year.
West beach (beyond the promenade) – Dogs are allowed at any time.
East beach (east of the river) – Dogs are allowed at any time.
Dogs are NOT allowed at any time between 1st May and 30th Sept on the central area of beach between the river Char and the western end of the promenade.
